A classic Australian Varietal blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon produced this ripe and flavoursome wine. Crimson red in colour, this wine displays spicy fresh pepper, plum and lifted berry fruit aromas, combined with subtle oak. These flavours flow onto the palate, which is intentionally soft, yet pleasantly mouth filling. Acid is carefully balanced with soft oak tannins for a ellow but lingering finish.
This wine is a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon that were fermented separately using pump over techniques. It is made in a soft and approachable style using extended maturation in stainless steel and oak until its blending and bottling late in the vintage year.
Intended as a more drink-now style, it is an excellent pairing with BBQ’s, pizza and other rich Italian foods including pasta. Also Excellent with red meats.
